Two bodies of “Cowboys” found in hole

Kpekuidzi Island (V/R) March 1, GNA – The bodies of two cattle drovers- “Cowboys,” identified as Charles Santos 12, and Pius Santos 10 were recovered from a six-foot hole at Kpekuidzi Island at the weekend.

According to eye witness report, the two boys a dug man-hole in the main gutter leading from the village to the Volta Lake in which they had been resting during the hot weather.

On the fateful day, while resting in the manhole, it suddenly caved in trapping them to death.

The corpses have since been buried at the public cemetery in the village.
