Two and half year old survives fall

A two-and-half year old toddler has miraculously survived a fall from the third floor of a building at Area Four in the Sunyani Municipality.

Little Selinam Fiakeya was rushed to the Regional Hospital after the fall last December and had just been released.

Mr. Love Fiakeya, father of the little girl, told the Ghana News Agency that doctors said she suffered a skull injury, fractured ribs and broken legs.

He narrated the incident to the GNA in Sunyani after the family held a thanksgiving service at West Newtown branch of Emmanuel Assemblies of God Church in Sunyani at the weekend

Mr. Fiakeya said he was at work when he received a phone call from a friend that his daughter had been admitted at the emergency ward of the Hospital after a fall.

“Surprisingly, my wife did not know about the incident until I informed her of the phone message from the friend.

In fact, when I went to the hospital and saw the condition of my daughter, I was traumatized and even doubted whether she would survive’, he said.

Mr Fiakeya said “after a couple of months of prayers and fasting, God listened to our supplication and eventually healed my daughter through the medical doctors at the accident ward of the hospital”.

He expressed great satisfaction for the work done by the doctors and was full of praise to God for the survival of his daughter and cautioned parents and baby sitters to be extra vigilant.
