Twifo Praso marks Independence Day with Parade

Mr Joseph Andoh, the District Chief Executive for Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira, has presided over the parade of workers, school children and voluntary organizations to mark the 55th anniversary celebration of the nation.

He read the President’s speech to the large gathering and used the occasion to launch an appeal for blood donation for the district.

TOPP Primary School emerged first in the march past at both the primary and junior high school levels with New Creation and Islamic Schools placing second and third at the Primary level and Infant Jesus and Asare “J” in that order at the JHS level.

Twifo Praso Senior High was first at the SHS level followed by Forever Young SHS.
