Twifo Praso DCE wins NPP primaries

Twifo Praso (C/R), July 29, GNA – Mr Abraham Dwumo Odoom, District Chief Executive for Twifo-Heman-Lower-Denkyira, has been elected NPP parliamentary candidate for Twifo-Atti Morkwaa, in the Central Region to contest the 2004 election.

He polled 71 votes to beat Mr John Amoah who secured six votes, while the third contestant, Mr Agyebi Kesse, stepped down. Mr Odoom thanked the members for the confidence reposed in him and appealed to them to vote for the NPP.

Mr Albert Essuman, Regional NPP Secretary, appealed to party members to tolerate the views of their political opponents to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
