Twifo District Assembly donates sewing machine to needy dressmakers

Twifo Praso (C/R) Oct.21, GNA- The Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District Chief Executive, Mr Abraham Odoom has presented three sewing machines, valued at 1.5 million cedis, to some needy members of the Twifo-Praso branch of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association.

Mr. Odoom who made the presentation at the first anniversary celebration of the Association, gave the assurance that the District Assembly would continue to offer the members the necessary support to enable them expand their businesses.

The week-long anniversary, which was observed on the theme: “Motivate the Idle Hands for Employable Skills”, was climaxed with fun games. Mr. Judos Achine, Chairman of the Association thanked the District Assembly for the kind gesture.
