Twifo Praso (C/R) Oct. 7, GNA- Mr Opoku Agyeman, chairman of the Twifo-Atti-Morkwa constituency branch of NPP on Tuesday appealed to members of the party to tolerate divergent views from their opponents and eschew violence during December elections.
Mr Agyeman who was addressing members of the party at a ceremony to raise funds for the constituency, appealed to members to work harder to ensure victory for the party.
He said the party would do its best to win the seat and appealed to polling station chairmen to intensify their campaign.
Mr Abraham Odoom the District Chief Executive for the area, thanked members for the confidence reposed in him by electing him as the parliamentary candidate for the constituency.
An amount of 35 million cedis was realised at the function.
