Twenty-one Judges Sworn Into Office

President John Agyekum Kufuor on Wednesday swore into office a Supreme Court Judge and 20 Judges of the High Court at the Castle, Osu.

He administered the Oath Of Allegiance while Chief Justice Mr Justice Edward Kwame Wiredu administered the Judicial Oath.

The Supreme Court Judge was Professor Justice Anselmus Kodzo Paaku Kludze.

The High Court Judges that included a woman were Miss Justice Margaret Insaidoo, Mr Justice Isaac Duose, Mr Justice Okofo Darteh, Mr Justice Festus Dzakpasu, Mr Justice Kwabena Berko Aning and Mr Justice Kwaku Adu Gyamfi.

The others were, Mr Justice Kwesi Kwansah Yanney, Mr Justice Ntow Agyekum, Mr Justice Evans Brinsley Komla Agbloyor, Mr Justice Charles Louis Quist, Mr Justice Kwadwo Addu-Ampomah, Mr Justice Kwadwo Ansah Pobih and Mr Justice Isaac Baafour Adjei.

The rest were, Mr Justice Benjamin Okai Tetteh, Mr Justice Michael Mensah-Brown, Mr Justice Kwame Ansu-Gyeabour, Mr Justice Richard Asamoah, Mr Justice Frank Kwadwo Amoah, Mr Justice Kofi Akwaah and Mr Justice James Benuyenah Benson.

Present at the ceremony was Papa Owusu Ankomah, Attorney – General and Minister of Justice.
