TV3 sacks 35 for wearing red

About 35 technical staff of TV3 have been summarily dismissed by management of the station for “wearing” red attire, which according to management, disturbed the peaceful labour environment within the media house’s premises.

Their dismissal followed a query letter sent to them asking that they explain why they wore red to work at the same time.

In Ghana’s labour environment, wearing red signals discontentment and warning to agitate for better welfare.

It is not clear if the 35 workers planned to wear red to send a particular message to management or make a specific welfare demand.
