Tuobodom appeals for towing vehicles

Tuobodom (B/A), June 22, GNA- The deep valleys at Pramposo and Awireti on the Tuobodom-Kintampo road in Brong Ahafo continues to claim lives of accident victims. The people of the area have, therefore, appealed to the government to provide towing vehicles for the national fire service personnel to enable them to save the lives of victims in the event of any accident.

Mr Kofi Yeboah, a transport owner at Tuobodom, in an interview with the GNA on Wednesday, noted that most passengers on vehicles that plunged into the valleys in accidents died due to the lack life saving devices with which to rescue them. He said: “With the acquisition of towing vehicles, the fire service personnel would be in a pole position to excavate articulators and heavy duty vehicles that plunge into the valleys”. Mr Yeboah commended the national fire service personnel for their prompt response to fire outbreaks and accidents in the Techiman municipality.
