Tsikata is an outmoded and blockheaded lawyer – Owusu Bempah

The Deputy Director of Communications of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has chided that the myth built around Tsatsu Tsikata that he is the legal luminary in the country is a farce because he is the most blockheaded lawyer in the country.

He stressed that Tsatsu Tsikata is just wasting the judges time as well as everybody’s with his repetitive questions; adding that if Tsatsu Tsikata is a good lawyer he should have moved on with his cross-examination when Dr. Bawumia answered that the duplicated pink sheets were used once in his analysis, and the figures have not been compromised.

Speaking on Okay FM, he said that Tsatsu Tsikata is an outmoded and blockheaded lawyer because the case in court is such that the petitioners are talking of over-voting of which the NDC lawyers have come to deny, but as at now Tsatsu Tsikata has admitted that indeed over-voting took place in the 2012 election.

He further said that Tsatsu Tsikata has buttressed the point of the petitioners that irregularities occurred as he said that the strongholds of Nana Akufo-Addo have records of over-voting.

“The stance of Tsatsu Tsikata in this court case has proven that he is not what people are juxtaposing that he is the legal luminary in the country,” he clarified.

He said Tsatsu’s posture is a mockery to his profession as a lawyer as he has resorted to repetition of questions without exposing the mistakes in the petition the petitioners have put before the Supreme Court.

According to Owusu Bempah it is surprising to note that the official custodian of the pink sheets could not provide them when the court demanded further and better particulars from the parties involved in the election litigation, but then decided to rely on those that the NPP petitioners have presented.
