Tsatsu Tsikata for fast track court?

Information reaching the office of the crusading guide indicates that the former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Mr Tsatsu Tsikata, might soon be arraigned before the Fast Track Court over the loss of huge sums of money to the State.

A source close to the office of the Attorney General hinted that Tsatsu Tsikata, the one time described “financial wizard” by ex-President Rawlings would explain how the sum of $47 million allegedly ‘vanished’ into oblivion’ while he was heading the GNPC.

This was apparently confirmed by Mr Kan Dapaah, Minister of Energy during a press briefing on Tuesday when he stated that the Government had commissioned a forensic audit into the alleged financial malfeasance.

He gave the assurance that action would be taken against him (Tsikata) when the Audit report comes out.
