Tsatsu can shout at Addison since he taught him – Asiedu Nketia

General Secretary of the NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said counsel for the petitioners in the ongoing 2012 election petition Philip Addison deserved his ‘shut up’ attack from lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata since he is not content with his cross-examination.

“Addison is always influenced by his colleague lawyers around him to raise unnecessary objections. In Parliament we call this heckling. I am not a lawyer, but not sure whether the court allows such behaviour from Mr Addison to interject in Mr Tsikata’s cross-examination, even if he doesn’t have something sensible to talk about. I think Mr. Addison is frustrated,” he told Asempa FM.

Tsatsu Tsikata bawled at Mr Addison in an open court proceeding, saying “can you shut up” when his learned friend on the opposite side interrupted his cross-examination of the 2012 election petition star witness, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Monday.

According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, aka ‘General Mosquito’, lawyer Tsikata has every right to ‘shout’ at lawyer Addison for the reason that he taught him at the law school.
