Tsatsu behaves like a stone-age era Lawyer – NPP

General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, has chastised and likened counsel for the third respondent in the ongoing Supreme Court case, Mr. Tsikata, to a law student who studied law during the ‘stone-age’ period, and comes to court with evidence he gathered from a “refuse dump” site.

According to him, Mr. Tsikata was only interested in asking the same question over and over without realizing that the people listening to him and the judges are fed up.

“He is like a pastor who knows nothing about preaching, and anytime he makes an effort to preach, his church members fall asleep…Tony Lithur used three days, Tsatsu deliberately want to waste our time so that his people would praise him for using more days”.

Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, who is also acclaimed as Sir John, noted in an interview with Okay FM that it was about time the current crop of lawyers informed Mr. Tsikata that his out-moded crossing examination style is not accepted by the modern courts and was only useful during the days of fossilized animals.

Sir John maintained that, he can only describe Mr. Tsikata as a stone-age legal luminary, who is specialized in “retrogression”.

He advised him not to make merry in court should he come across “useless” evidence the petitioners have piled and dumped at a refuse site.
