Truth Faith Church holds Prayer Festival on road accidents

Accra, March 28, GNA – Reverend Emmanuel Boamah, Area Pastor of the Truth Faith Church, has called on drivers to avoid drunkenness and speeding to save lives and property. He said the recent high spate of road accidents were causing a lot of pain and agony to families and urged all drivers to be responsible for the safety of passengers.

Pastor Boamah made the call at the end of a three-day prayer festival of the Church at Kwabenya in Accra on Saturday. It was aimed at praying for God’s intercession to stem the spate of accidents which had of late claimed many lives. Pastor Boamah called on churches and other religious organizations to join the road safety crusade to minimize road accidents in the country. He advised the youth to desist from anti-social activities such as alcoholism, drug abuse and the “get-rich attitude”. Pastor Elijah Osafo Obeng, Head of the Taifa Branch of the Church advised religious leaders to preach the true word of God and not to mislead the congregation for their selfish gains.
