Truck pusher remanded for dealing in hemp

Tema, Sept 23, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘B’ has remanded a truck pusher for possessing 33 parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

Ali Yakubu Guntu pleaded not guilty to the charge and will re-appear on October 5.

Police Inspector Ben Agbedanu told the court that on September 19 the police had a tip-off that three men were dealing in Indian hemp at site one.

Inspector Agbedanu said the police moved into the house and found 33 parcels of leaves suspected to be Indian hemp. Guntu claimed ownership of the.
