A seven-year-old girl has been killed after a truck loaded with fish ran into a house in Senya Bereku in the Central Region.
Augustina Atoba died on the spot in the accident that occurred around 2pm on Wednesday, May 9.
Senya Bereku District Police Commander ASP Matthew Owiredu Boa-Amponsem confirmed the accident to Accra FM reporter Opanyin Darko after he visited the scene.
Akwasi Aboagye, driver of the truck with registration number GW 9860R, revealed that he lost control of the truck after the brake failed and unfortunately ran into the house.
