Tristate Congratulates President- Elect Prof. Mills

Tristate Ny, Nj Ct Ndc Congratulates President- Elect Prof. Mills

Prof. Mills’ historic election as president is in no small part due to the hard work of NDC and every discerning Ghanaian. From the primaries through Election Day, thousands of you have showed that this election was too important to sit on the sidelines. The Tristate NDC have been so proud to hear the stories of NDC members making their voices heard by volunteering in the field, hosting fundraising parties, sharing their stories and photos from the campaign trail, answering questions about the issues and candidates, and so much more. The NDC truly have demonstrated democracy in action.

Congratulations Prof. Mills, the members of the Tristate NY, NJ CT chapter of NDC are proud of your accomplishment and share your philosophy of governance. Your campaign has shown that a centralized long term campaign engenders success.

This is a tremendous victory, but it is a beginning, not an end. President-elect Mills inherits considerable challenges–a severe economic crisis, a broken system, the need to revamp education and health laws once and for all to address the unacceptable gap between the poor and the rich, enormous infrastructure strains, and tribal tension in the country. Prof. Mills and the NDC elected officials have huge tasks ahead of them, and our continued civic engagement will be crucial. We must continue to be heard. We must remain active participants in our great democracy. Prof Mills and NDC entreat every Ghanaian to continue to provide a way to move Ghana in the right direction. Again, congratulation to Prof. Mills and thanks to everybody who helped to bring about this great victory. We couldn’t have done it without you. Together we stand,

NDC Tristate NY, NJ CT
