Travellers to Libya should take note

Accra, Nov. 28, GNA – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday said all visitors travelling to or entering Libya would be required to present passport with translations of the relevant Bio-Data and issuing details in Arabic.

An official statement the Ministry issued in Accra said the translated text should appear on a page of the passport and be duly certified with a seal by a legal translator in the country of origin. It said visitors whose passports did not comply with the above requirements would be refused entry into Libya.

Holders of diplomatic and service passports arriving as guests of the Libyan government are exempt from this requirement.
