In a statement issued in Kumasi to console the Catholic Church and the relatives of those who died in the recent accident at Akropong, Komfo Badu, the Chief Priest of the Ampeadwa Shrine, said the spate of accidents on the country’s roads were “uncalled for”.

He mentioned some of the famous traditional priests and shrines which will take part in the prayer session as Komfo Kyei, the Chairman of the Ghana Psychic and Traditional Healers Association, Afrikania Mission, African Traditional Worship (Komfo Abass group) and Save Africa Foundation, an international NGO.

Komfo Badu said prayers would be said for drivers, transport organizations, the police, mechanics and other people involved in the transport industry.
