Traditional medicine practitioners advocate creation of new ministry

The President of the Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association of Ghana, Kojo Odum Eduful is calling for the creation of a new Ministry for its members.

He said the current situation where they are placed under the Ministry of Health does not adequately address their needs.

A new Ministry would give them the necessary attention to improve the welfare of its members.

He spoke to GBC’s George Asekere on our news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind the News.’
