Traders advised to use profits prudently

Winneba-Junction (C/R), Dec. 26, GNA – Mrs. Prudence Aba Manful, Manager of the Winneba-Junction branch of the Akyempim Rural Bank, has advised customers of the bank, particularly those who have secured financial assistance to promote their businesses to ensure prudent use of their profits.

She cautioned that any misapplication of loans granted them would have serious and adverse effects on their operations in the ensuing year and eventually impede their efforts to repay the loans in good time. Mrs Manful was interacting with a cross section of loans beneficiaries of the bank at Winneba-Junction on the Eve of Christmas. She reminded them of the incidence of numerous unplanned programmes that were likely to crop in during the yuletide and drain their coffers and advised customers, especially beneficiaries of various economic interventions initiated by the bank for their well-being to exercise great caution in their expenditures.

Mrs Manful assured customers of the bank’s continued support, co-operation and effective guidance in their economic pursuits, adding that management and workers of the bank would offer them the best of their services in the coming year.

She said come next year the bank would come out with more workable and achievable innovations to promote its customer/worker relations to enhance the operations of both customers and the bank. Mrs Manful expressed the hope that customers would prove equal to the task ahead in the ensuing year to strengthen the financial capabilities of the bank all the times.

She commended workers of the branch for their hard work and advised them to maintain the high level of team spirit they had built for efficient running of the bank.
