Trader before court for sodomy

Accra, April 21, GNA – Sampson Kwabena Yeboah, a 20-year-old trader at Awoshie has appeared before an Accra Circuit Court for allegedly having an unnatural carnal knowledge of a 17-year-old boy.

He pleaded not guilty and was granted a 20 million cedi bail with one surety by the court presided over by Mrs Elizabeth Ankumah to reappear on May 19.

Police Inspector Mary Agbozo prosecuting told the court that on March 24 this year, the victim approached the Yeboah for 2,000 cedis to buy food and the accused asked him to follow him up to the house for the money.

She said when the victim entered the accused person’s room he forcibly put a handkerchief into the victim’s mouth and had sex with him through the anus.

Inspector Agbozo, said after the act the accused gave the victim 2,000 cedis, but he revealed the incident to his friends who made a report to the Odorkor Police.
