Trade Fair authority takes measures to ensure sanity on fair grounds.

The Ghana Trade Fair Authority says it would start deflating the wheels of vehicles parked on the fair grounds as from tomorrow. Speaking to JOY FM today, the Chief Executive of the Fair, Colonel Seth Kwao said despite repeated warnings to exhibitors to park their vehicles at the reserved car parks since 1992, exhibitors have been flouting this rule, hence this course of action. On electricity supply to the fair, Colonel Kwao said power supply to the fair grounds, has been regular apart from the initial problems. He blamed the exhibitors, some of whom, he said have been using high energy consuming electrical gadgets like powerful security bulbs without permission. This, he said has sometimes overloaded their transformer. Colonel Kwao commended the exhibitors, 80 percent of whom had completed their stands on time. He said he anticipated a high patronage considering the situation on the grounds now.
