Nyinahin (Ash), April 28, GNA – Mr. Wilberforce Owusu-Ansah, Atwima Mponua District Chief Executive, has urged Town and Area Council members to mobilize their people for self-help projects to ensure the development of the communities.
He also advised them to keep proper accounts of their transactions that are audited by the district assembly internal auditor. He was addressing members of Atwima Mponua Area Town and Council at a day’s workshop organized by the district assembly at Nyinahin at the weekend.
Mr. Owusu-Ansah urged them to open a bank account into which all monies collected as special levies should be deposited. Mr. Owusu-Ansah stressed the need for them to assist revenue collection to improve on the revenue base of the assembly.
