Too many insults in the environment – Togbe Agbi

Hoviepe (V/R), Oct. 02, GNA – Togbe Agbi III, Paramount Chief of Hoviepe Traditional Area, on Saturday described Ghana’s political atmosph= ere as 93filled with too many insults” and appealed to the media to help dif= fuse the tensions within.

“The insults and verbal attacks are too much. The media must help diffuse the atmosphere of insults before the 2012 general elections,” he said. Togbe Agbi said this at a durbar to climax this year’s Yam Festival celebration of the chiefs and people of Hoviepe. The festival was on the theme, Unity in Development. He said the politics of insults does not bring development and urged the community to remain united.

Togbe Agbi appealed to young people in the area to be hard working and help develop the area’s mountain top community into a tourist destination= .. He said the community needs computers for its computer laboratory and appealed to people from the community living outside to contribute towards the development of the area.
