Tongu South MP is working against Mahama – Rawlings

Former President Rawlings has accused incumbent South Tongu Member of Parliament, Kobla Mensah Woyome, of sabotaging President Mahama’s chances of re-election in the Volta region.

Mr Rawlings claims Kobla Mensah Woyome, who is brother to business man Alfred Woyome, is not only going about spreading false allegations against his competitors for the seat but also posting his campaign bills over those of President Mahama.

Mr Rawlings claims Mr Woyome is alleging the main opposition NPP candidate as well as an independent candidate are hatching a plot to use machetes against him during the elections.

He describes Mr Woyome as a man with a corrupt background whose allegations cannot be taken seriously.

He says Kobla Mensah Woyome is deliberately destroying the President’s chances of winning the elections in the Volta region.
