Togbe Fiti appeals to youth to seek education

Aflao, Sept 26, GNA – Togbe Amenya Fiti V, Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area, has advised the youth to cease seeking early employment but instead concentrate their energies on education. He said the experiences of some elders who took such risks and grew up disappointed in life must be a reference point for today’s youth. Addressing the inauguration of the Aflao chapter of Neighbour Love Ghana (NLG), a Ghanaian non-governmental organization, Togbe Amenya Fiti told the youth to make early job engagement their last resort.

“Only education ensures sustainable means of life for you other than which your income depreciates and capacity wanes as you grow with more responsibilities,” Togbe Fiti cautioned the youth.

Mr Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry who inaugurated the chapter, asked youth clubs to help address community problems, especially those relating to the youth. Mr Peter Fiti, Chairman of NLG, said the organization would not relent in charting the course of the youth.
