Togbe Afede commissions Palace Hall for Asogli State

Togbe Afede XIV, Paramount Chief of Asogli State Council and President of Volta regional House of Chiefs on Wednesday commissioned a modern palace hall for the Asogli State.

The GHc200,000 facility has offices and a meeting place for authorities of the state.

According to Togbe Afede, the facility is part of a palace complex to be completed in two years. He called for unity among the chiefs and the people, for the rapid development of the area.

Togbe Afede said petty disputes and destructive criticisms were enemies to development and charged the chiefs and the people to support development programmes.

He reiterated his commitment to the development of the Asogli State, the Volta region and Ghana, and announced that more development projects were being worked out for the region.

The chief said feasibility studies were also being undertaken for investment in agriculture and urged the youth to position themselves to take advantage of the coming opportunities.
