TMA generates 14 billion cedis revenue

Tema, Oct. 13, GNA – The Tema Municipal Assembly (TMA), locally generated 14 billion cedis revenue at the end of July, this year. Mr. Evans Ashong Narh, the Municipal Chief Executive, who disclosed this on Wednesday at the opening of the Assembly’s Second Ordinary Meeting, said the figure formed 60 per cent of its annual target. He charged the assembly members to work extra hard to generate the required revenue to implement development projects

Mr. Ashong Narh said 25 kilometres of road would be developed in the Municipality, under the Urban Environmental Sanitation Project (UESPII) and the Road Sector Development Project (RSDP). The road would span Ashaiman Official Town; Middle East; Jerico; Kpone, Tema Manhean and Lashibi.

Mr. Stephen Teye, a Circuit Court Judge, swore the newly elected Presiding Member, Nii Dortey Abortsi, into office.
