Timber Firm Rehabilitates Road

Kusikrom (Ash) A five-kilometre road from Nkrankwanta to Kusikrom in the Atwima District has been rehabilitated by a Kumasi timber firm,Messrs Kwame Konadu Timbers (KKT) at the cost of five million cedis. Nana Kwame Konadu, managing director of the company, who led newsmen to inspect the project, said the firm undertook the project to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in the transportation of cocoa and foodstuffs from the area. He pledged the company’s readiness to continue to assist the people in their developmental needs. Nana Konadu commended the people for their co-operation with the company since it started operations in the area. A spokesman for the communities expressed their gratitude to the company for the assistance.
