Thunderstorm to hit three regions Saturday night – Ghana Meteo warns

The Ghana Meteorological Agency is warning of a thunderstorm likely to hit parts of the country Saturday night.

A weather warning report signed and issued by Deputy Forecaster, Paul Ackah, mentioned the Eastern, mid Volta and the Ashanti Regions as the areas to be affected.

It said the thunderstorm, will “move westward later in the night to affect the Brong Ahafo Region”.

The thunderstorm is expected to be accompanied by “strong winds and moderate or heavy rains” in the affected areas, the report stated.
