Thunder strike ‘kills’ prophetess at Assin Fosu

The Assin Fosu township in the Central region has been thrown into a state of shock following the tragic death of a popular prophetess in the area.

The spiritual leader of the International Christian Bible Church, Prophetess Ewura Esi Amanda popularly known as Prophetess Amanda was struck dead by thunder in front of her residence Sunday evening when the rains set in.

The ‘Woman of God’ who operates mini mart at her house was packing her wares into the shop when she got struck by thunder.

Prophetess Amanda who was conspicuously missing from Sunday service deciding to attend to her business, was later found unconscious forcing onlookers to rush her to the St. Francis Xavier Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.

Her body has since being deposited at the hospital morgue. The deceased who is in her 30’ was described by many in the area as loving, caring and a respectful lady who doesn’t shy away from advising the youth.
