A group of young men numbering about 15 attacked G/constable Emmanuel Baafi of Kpone police who was on duty at S. F. International located at the Freezone enclave at 2 am Monday.
The police officer was subjected to severe beatings, disfiguring his face in the process .
The culprits overpowered him and collected his AK rifle from him.
