Three siblings burnt to death at Nkwanta

Three siblings have been burnt to death at Nkwanta in the Volta region after fire gutted their home Wednesday.

The gory incident has left residents of the community in a state of shock and disbelief.

Starr News sources say several attempts to rescue the children proved futile as personnel of the Fire Service who arrived at the scene on time struggled to put out the blaze.

The fire was reportedly triggered by gallons of pre-mix fuel which had been stored in the room.

According to Starr News Lambert Atsivor, a desperate father of the children, who attempted to rescue his kids, also sustained severe burns and is currently receiving treatment at the Nkwanta district hospital.
