Three Nkwanta communities receive bible donations

Nkwanta (V/R), July 13, GNA – Mr Tony Arbini, Coordinator, Bible for the Poor Nations (BPN), a US based Christian non-governmental organisation has stated that the total success of Christian life was dependent on the Holy Bible.

He said a true Christian must hold onto the word of God and proclaim it even in the face of difficulties and persecution. Mr Arbini said this when he led a team from the BPN to donate bibles to the people of Nkwanta, Kpasa and Damanko in the Nkwanta District.

He also performed a sod cutting ceremony for the construction of a clinic in the area.

Mr Arbini urged beneficiaries of the bible, especially children to aspire to become great leaders and achievers through the guidance of the bible, which they must always read. Mr Joseph Denteh, Nkwanta District Chief Executive, said it was through the good news in the Bible that peace was returning to conflict areas in the District. 13 July 07
