Suhum (E/R), July 25, GNA – Three people, including a year old girl, were killed in two weeks at Sowatey, a farming community on the Suhum-Asamankese road, by speeding vehicles.
The Assemblyman for the area, Mr Eric Dartey told the GNA that the girl was killed on Sunday while crossing the road.
He expressed the community’s concern about the rate of accidents and appealed to the Police to check the drivers who ply the road. Mr Dartey said the people might be compelled to take the law into their own hands if nothing was done about the spate of accidents.
