Three die in an accident near Kasseh

Three persons on Friday died when a taxi in which they were traveling from Kasseh to Ada-Foah, in the Dangme East District, crashed into a tree at Bedeku.

They are Stephen Larweh Ayiku, 30, driver, Gladys Aryeh, 43 and Jennifer Teyewayo, 17, both traders.

Eyewitness accounts claimed the driver ran into the tree as he attempted to avoid a fowl on the road, but the police said this has not been verified.

Ada police sources told Ghana News Agency Ayiku, picked Aryeh and Teyewayo at Kasseh market about 1400 hours for Ada-Foah with his cab, with registration number: GE 88 V, but crashed into the mahogany tree a few minutes later.
