Three communities in Nkoranza commended for checking bushfire

Nkoranza (B/A), May 25, GNA – Nana Frimpong Manso, Gyaasehene of Boana in the Nkoranza District has commended the people of Boana, Sikaa and Kranka communities for guarding against bushfires since the past three years.

Nana Frimpong-Manso told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Nkoranza on Wednesday that the people have avoided the setting of bushfires, which had helped to protect the environment from destruction. The chief also commended local fire volunteers in the three communities for their efforts in achieving the feat.

Nana Manso called on the District Assembly to award the communities for showing commitment to their civic responsibilities.
