Three children drown at Amasaman on Farmers’ Day

Two children, aged 10 and 11, have been drowned in a River at Sonitra near Amasaman in the GA WEST District in the Greater Accra Region on Friday afternoon.

Their bodies were retrieved by a search team made up of local residents after more than 2 hours.

The deceased children were reported to have ignored the advice of a third colleague not to swim.

According to sources in the area, the third body is yet to be retrieved by the search team
