Three births recorded at Tamale Hospitals

Two hospitals in Tamale recorded three births on Easter Sunday.

They are the Tamale West Hospital, which recorded two births, a boy and a girl, who were delivered at 00:45 hours and 04:30 hours respectively, and a baby girl at the Tamale Central Hospital.

Madam Amina Alhassan, Midwife on duty at the Labour Ward of the Tamale West Hospital, who briefed the Ghana News Agency, said the babies were delivered naturally, and that, the parents and the babies were doing well.

Madam Nuria Ziblim, Midwife on duty at the Labour Ward of the Tamale Central Hospital said the baby was delivered naturally and both mother and baby were also doing well.

The GNA also visited the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Hospital in Tamale but no delivery was recorded.
