Thousands Mourn with Kwabena Agyepong

The entire Asokore Mampong Township came to a standstill when thousands from all walks of life joined Kwabena Agyepong, former Presidential Press secretary and aspiring General Secretary the New Patriotic Party to mourn his late mother, Mrs. Margaret Agyepong.
The Palace of the Asokore Mampong Hene, Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah, received lots of dignitaries, which included Former President John Agyekum Kufour, Members of Parliament, Government Representatives, the NPP leadership and faithful from across the country.
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu was represented by Nana Tepahene who was flanked by other chiefs from the region.
The Family of Mrs. Agyepong and sympathizers in the early hours of Saturday filed pass the mortal remains of their mother before she was sent to the Asokore Mampong Catholic Church for the final burial service.
Kwabena Agyepong expressed his appreciation for the love and honour shown him by the thousands of sympathizers.
