Thousands jubilate in Upper East after Mahatma’s victory

Thousands of Jubilant supporters of the victorious National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Sunday night besieged the streets of the Bolgatanga Municipality and its environs to celebrate the victory of the President John Dramani Mahama.

The celebration was not limited to the only the Bolgatanga Municipality and also its environs as well as all the eight districts of the Upper East Region.

Wearing in NDC T-shirts, NDC flags and paraphernalia, they drummed and danced to brass band music and traditional songs.

They tooted horns of their motorbikes and cars continued the celebration till the early hours of Monday morning.
