The newly built 15,000 capacity Cape Coast stadium in the Central region is hosting the ruling National Democratic Congress, supporters and sympathisers as it launches its campaign today with heavy security presence.
The campaign is being launched on the theme; “Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana”.
As at Saturday afternoon, some party bigwigs had arrived at the venue ahead of the launch “to gauge the mood and monitor preparations for the event”.
Currently, the stadium is filled as thousands of party faithful and sympathisers from all the regions together with their regional executives are happily arriving in their numbers.
Certain branded campaign materials have also been captured.
