Thomas Partey And Kwasi Sibo Make Laliga Debut In Villarreal 2-0 Win Over Real Oviedo

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey made his first official appearance for Villarreal in their 2-0 victory over Real Oviedo on Friday, coming on as a late substitute.

The 31-year-old, who joined Villarreal after leaving Arsenal, was handed his debut in the closing stages as the Yellow Submarine secured three points in LaLiga. His introduction was met with loud cheers from the home fans, eager to see the experienced midfielder in action.

On the opposite side, compatriot Kwasi Sibo marked a personal milestone, playing the full 90 minutes for Real Oviedo in what was his LaLiga debut. Despite ending on the losing side, the 26-year-old’s composure and work rate in midfield drew praise from observers.
