Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has acknowledged that Mohammed Kudus is likely to face a hostile reception when he returns to the London Stadium to face his former club, West Ham United.
Kudus, who joined Spurs after a successful stint with the Hammers, is set for an emotional reunion later today as the two London rivals clash in the Premier League.
Speaking ahead of the game, Frank admitted that the atmosphere could be intense but insisted his player has the character to handle it.
“I’m pretty sure players and myself hear the extra noise but then you get into your zone. I’m sure it will be the same for Kudus and anyone in a hostile atmosphere,” the Spurs boss said.
The Ghanaian midfielder, who made a strong impression during his time at West Ham, will be central to Tottenham’s hopes as they look to secure a crucial away victory.
The London derby promises fireworks both on and off the pitch, with Kudus’ return adding extra spice to an already heated fixture.
