Thieves steal computers from school

Thieves have broken into the office of Nkwabeng Seventh-Day Adventist Junior High School in the Nkoranza South Municipality and stole eight RLG laptop computers.

The school took delivery of 10 of computers from the Nkoranza Municipal Education Directorate last year for the teaching and learning of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Mr. Emmanuel Kwadwo Yeboah, the Headmaster of the school, told the GNA at Nkoranza that the school suspected some marijuana smoking young men in the area to have carried out the burglary.

Mr. Yeboah said early this year thieves broke into the SDA Church at Akuma and stole valuable items.

The Nkoranza police have confirmed the incident and said investigations were being conducted.
