Thieves raid senior high school

Nkrankwanta (B/A), March 6, GNA – Thieves have broken into Nkrankwanta Senior High School in Dormaa Municipality and made away with school property. Items the thieves stole included eight computers, a DVD player, an amplifier and a 21-inch television. The school’s Senior Housemaster, Mr. Abraham Peprah, said three security men who were on duty at the time had been granted police enquiry bail for further investigations. Mr. Peprah said on the day of the incident the headmaster and some members of staff were attending a funeral at Seikwa and most of the tutors were also resident in town due to lack of accommodation on campus. Mr. Peprah said he was alerted by a student through a telephone call.
