Thieves raid school at Kranka

Nkoranza (B/A) Oct. 17, GNA – Thieves broke into the office of the Roman Catholic Primary School at Kranka in Nkoranza North District of Brong Ahafo and made away with school items valued at hundreds of new Ghana cedis.

The items included sport kits, stationery and teaching materials. Mr. Philip Kwabena Kyeremeh, Head teacher of the school told the Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza that the theft was detected on October six and that the School Management Committee was investigating it. Mr. Kyeremeh said the matter had been reported to the Nkoranza District Directorate of Education and the Police.

He appealed to surrounding communities including Techiman, Kintampo and Wenchi to be on the look out and report suspected persons found selling such stolen items.
