Ntiribuoho (Ash), Dec. 22, GNA – Thieves on Monday night, raided the Ntiribuoho Presbyterian Church of Ghana, in the Afigya-Kwabre district, and made away with a number of items running into thousands of Cedis.
The stolen items included three “Ahuja” amplifiers, a combo, a 24-inch television set, a video deck, generator and guitar cords.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday, Mr Paul Owusu-Ansah, catechist of the Church said the TV and the deck were recently donated to them by a philanthropist.
He said the other items were given to the Church by the late Paul Addai, an Evangelist and Managing Director of Addai Cutlass, who also built the Church for them.
The Catechist said they have reported the case to the Kodie police and that nobody has been arrested yet.
Meanwhile a hairdresser, Mary Sarpong, who lives in the same community, also had her hair dressing saloon raided, when she discovered that her hairdryer, two tonguing machines and several packs of hair extensions had been stolen from her shop.
