Thieves intensify activities at Bawjiase

Awutu-Bawjiase (C/R), Aug 30, GNA – Thieves have intensified their activities in and around Awutu-Bawjiase in the Central Region in the past three weeks.

Within the period about 10 homes were raided with property estimated at nearly 300 million cedis stolen. The victims have reported to the Bawjiase Police who had intensified their investigations to apprehend the thieves. Meanwhile, Assembly Members in the area have met to discuss the issue to find ways of assisting the law enforcing agencies to bring the culprits to book.

According to their spokesman, all the robberies took place during the day.
